Lyme purchased a 163,500-acre hardwood property in southern West Virginia from affiliates of The Forestland Group (TFG). The property is subject to a carbon credit development project under California’s compliance carbon market and will be managed for sustainable timber harvesting. Lyme will operate the property as a working forest with a focus on the adoption of timber harvesting technologies that support better quality jobs, worker safety, and sustainable forest management in the region.
